Project Days

Oconto County 4-H puts on three county-wide project day events annually, beginning with 4-H Project Kickoff at the start of the new 4-H year.  At 4-H Fall Kickoff youth visit displays highlighting a variety of 4-H projects, see examples of what they can do in each project, meet their project leaders, and get a project challenge.  Project challenges can also be downloaded here for those youth unable to attend Fall Project Kickoff.

Bring your completed challenge to January Thaw Project Day  where youth  work with their project leaders in 45-minute workshops in areas like videography, baking, archery, rabbits, poultry, and electricity.  At January Thaw, youth will receive a new project challenge for Spring Fling.

Youth, third grade and above, who complete both the January Thaw and Spring Fling sessions are eligible for a project pin in up to three project areas.   The project pins will be awarded at the annual Achievement Banquet in November.
