The UW-Extension Local Government Center, part of the Cooperative Extension Service, is publishing this announcement of its statewide programs on a monthly basis. Information about the Local Government Center and its programming may be found at lgc.uwex.edu.

April 10, 24, 26, May 1, 2012 – “Conducting the Annual Board of Review” – (#1781-8) – Part of the Local Government Center’s “Current Issues Affecting Local Government Officials” WisLine series. Available at any WisLine site 10:30 – 12:20 p.m. Fee $20 per person. This program meets the certified training requirement under the law for board of review members; however, you must register and attend the WisLine program to meet the requirement. Alternatively, registering and listening to the audiostreamed program or the CD also counts for the certified training. This program will help you to become versed in the statutory requirements and procedures for conducting the annual board of review. Presented by Rick Stadelman, Wisconsin Towns Associatio, and Reed Johnson, Department of Revenue.
