WNEP is a federally funded UW-Extension Family Living Program that helps limited resource families and individuals choose healthful diets, purchase and prepare healthful food and handle it safely. WNEP provides nutrition education based on the Dietary Guidelines for Americans and MyPlate to help people become more food secure by spending their food dollars wisely.

Oconto Community Garden

JANUARY 2012 – This project will be starting its 12th year of operation in the spring.  The garden is used by WNEP staff to teach nutrition education,and by the school to help children learn about gardening and science.
