Strong Women Strong Bones

The Strong Bones Program includes  progressive weight training, flexibility and balance activities. These exercises are safe and effective for women and men of all ages, including those who are not in perfect health.

Angela Flickinger, Family Living Educator at UW-Extension Rock County, introduces a StrongWoman™ training program designed by Dr. Miriam Nelson and Rebecca Seguin of Tufts University. Flickinger leads the participants in strength training exercises designed to maintain fitness and to increase both strength and bone density in women.
