A University of Wisconsin (UW)-Extension Fall Beef producer meeting is being offered to producers of all sizes and the agriculture professionals who service their operations. The agenda will include a farm tour and speakers.
Speaker topics will include “The Scoop on Minerals—Balancing Forages, Soil Fertility, and Supplements” presented by Dr. Jamie Patton, Outreach Specialist, UW-Madison Nutrient Pest Management, and “Considerations for Renovating Dairy Barns for Your Beef Herd” by Sarah Mills-Lloyd, DVM, UW-Extension Oconto County Agriculture Agent. The meeting will be held Wednesday, October 17th at Lowland Farms, located at W1123 Nichols Drive, Krakow.
The program begins with registration at 3:30 p.m. and concludes at 6:00 p.m. Registration is $10/person and includes speakers, workshop materials, and a light supper.
